This page reflects what we see as core truths about Jesus Christ and His church.

The Bible is God’s message for all of us. It was written by human authors over thousands of years, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the primary source of truth for understanding who God is and who we are.

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. There is one God, and He eternally exists in in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the Son of God. He is both fully human and fully God. Jesus was tempted just as we are and yet lived a sinless human life. His death on a cross was a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men. His rose from the dead three days after His death, demonstrating his power over sin and death. He ascended to the Father and will return to earth as the Savior of the world.

Man is made in God’s image, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates man from God.

Through Jesus’ life and death, we are offered the gift of forgiveness. This gift is freely offered, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or being good people. This new life of faith starts by saying yes to Jesus’ leadership in our life. Salvation is offered in grace and received by faith in Jesus.

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally united with Him is Eternal Life.

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit lives in every follower of Jesus. He provides all followers of Jesus guidance, understanding, and power to live a life of love.
