Frequently Asked Questions If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us. "WHAT DO YOU DO ON SUNDAYS?" A live band begins our gathering at 10:30am with upbeat and thoughtful music. The lyrics are on the big screen, so you can sing along, stand in silence, or just sit and listen. After the opening music, someone shares a message centered around Jesus, mixed together with practical life application, stories, video clips, and other creative elements. We end our time with worship and prayer - our band plays a couple more songs, giving us a time to reflect on what was shared. If you want to come early, we have coffee (the insanely good Mud Bay Coffee), tea and refreshments available. We also end our gathering time with a coffee break - get some goods and talk with friends before you wrap up the day! "WHAT DO MY KIDS DO?" For kids nursery age through 5th grade, we have age appropriate KidSplash classes designed to build faith and character while having fun! Our children's environment is thoughtful and safe, and your kids will have a great time. "WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?" Clothes are a good start! It doesn't really matter; come comfortable. God cares more about the condition of our hearts than the shirt on our backs. There's no written (or unwritten) dress code. Get dressed up, or show up in jeans. "WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY?" Don't worry about it. The Fountain is fully supported by the families that call it their home church. We are just honored to have you with us. We do not take a formal offering, and have a giving box in the back for those who want to give. We believe giving should not flow from compulsion or guilt, but rather out of gratitude to Jesus and commitment to His mission. "I DON'T KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE BIBLE." That's okay. Our messages are based on biblical truths, but you don't need to be familiar with the Bible to understand them. We look at real-life issues and how Scripture helps us understand and address them. And you're always free to follow up with your own questions and thoughts. |
